Matthew is General Manager at ECS. He leads the business end-to-end and is accountable for project delivery, team performance and client outcomes across all commissioning engagements. He sets strategy, builds capability and ensures ECS teams have the governance, tools and support to deliver. Day to day he oversees pursuits, resourcing and program risk, removes roadblocks and keeps project delivery on track. Clients value his decisive leadership, clear communication and focus on results.
With more than 15 years in building services and commissioning, Matthew combines deep technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and fire protection systems with a broad understanding of integrated building services. He has led multidisciplinary teams on residential, commercial and mission‑critical projects from early planning through integrated testing to handover. His approach blends rigorous verification and documentation with practical, operations-focused decision making to help owners achieve reliable performance and a smooth transition into steady‑state operations. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
