NEXTDC’s P2 data centre is a 20MW colocation facility based in the Perth CBD. As WA’s only Uptime Institute Tier IV certified facility, P2 is the only fault tolerant data centre in the state, delivering customers 100% uptime. ECS was engaged as Commissioning Mangers for all building services, aimed to verify the critical operating environment as completely fault tolerant infrastructure.
The role of ECS included the development and co-ordination of Integrated Systems Tests (ISTs) to validate crucial equipment to the highest certification standards globally.
Due to global travel restrictions, ECS’s role was extended to manage the 3-day remote assessment carried out by the Uptime Institute as part of the tough accreditation process. The success of the innovative verification method demonstrates ECS’s ability to provide vital solutions to our client’s needs.
