David took an apprenticeship at Formica Plastics in fitting and machining. He completed his pressure welding certificate and welder’s inspection certificate, Quality Control certificate, certificate in Management and achieved his Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He has undertaken training in Greenstar to achieve Greenstar professional.
David enjoys the challenges around mechanical hydraulics and fire services, undertaking review and comment to services project documents inclusive commissioning plans, workshop drawings, schematics, design briefs. Review of all services commissioning and testing documentation. Undertaking commissioning of plant and systems associated with mechanical, fire, hydraulics, BMCS, security, vertical transport and communications. Review of as-built services documentation inclusive Operation and Maintenance Manuals, As built drawings etc. Review of quarterly Tuning documentation attributed to plant according to Greenstar and NABERS qualification. He enjoys learning about systems and plant and building up his own technical library so he can use the information to better himself, look and perform professionally to the client and always strive for quality and accuracy.
David’s working experience extends to undertaking roles in project engineering, project management, project design and now commissioning manager. Lucky enough to work on a diverse network of projects, throughout Australia and offshore in areas such as: mining, marine, rollingstock, power stations, hospitals, airports and commercial towers.
