SICEEP is the largest, fully integrated convention, exhibition and entertainment precinct in Australia. High environmental and sustainability standards saw the precinct achieve a certified Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating together with NABERS and Green Star certifications.
Sustainability was at the core of this 20ha Darling Harbour development. The consortium set industry leading standards for energy and water efficiency for the various exhibition, hotel and commercial buildings. Due to the complex nature and scale of the development and integration with existing infrastructure, attention to detail and communication and collaboration were key to successful delivery of the project. ECS provided commissioning management services to Lendlease to complement their in-house engineering services management team. Our commissioning management methodology integrated seamlessly with Lendlease developed construction processes to deliver an integrated approach to the management and programming of the commissioning for a successful handover.
ECS was able to develop specific commissioning management processes and documentation to ensure Lendlease was kept up to date with commissioning progress and was able to identify critical hold points and implement associated actions required to keep the project to programme.
